Print Broker vs. Local Printer . . . . what is the difference?

How are we different from a local print shop? We, as Print Brokers, have the flexibility to research within the United States for printers that specialize in certain print jobs. We establish relationships with various printers giving us a wider range of printing options. In doing so, we will find the best reasonable price with a promise of quality printing and short turnaround time.

We stay in touch with our clients. We stay in connection with our clients from the initial consultation, establish if graphic designing is needed, send out quotes, send back and forth what has been created, changes that need to be made from the client’s request, setup the print job to be “printer ready”, review proofs from the printer, give ok to print, If there are any issues, with the job, I will be the liaison between the client and printer to problem solve the situation. We watch for notifications about shipping, and connect with the client when their print job has been delivered. At which time, we ask if the job met their expectations.

We save the client time and money better spent on their operation of business. Sometimes researching on a project by making phone calls or sending emails to printers can be time consuming. When you are consumed with other business matters, it can be frustrating when attempting to locate the right printer at the right cost. This can be especially frustrating when you have a deadline to meet.

When the job is completed, the client has access to their print job file. If requested, we will send you a copy of your print job PDF file for future print jobs. We also keep your files on hand if you would like to make an adjustment for the next print job, like; a change of email address, phone # or adding your updated website address and QR code.

How is this different from a local printer? We work with wholesale printers that price jobs at a better rate than the average local printer. Local printers are tied to just the equipment they have in their shop. They may only specialize in a limited range of services. Some printers may have too much on their schedule to be available for one-on-one consultations, which can be a risk of misunderstanding the client’s preferences. If they don’t provide services for your specific type of print job, they usually don’t have the time to research and find a printer that can provide the type of service you are looking for.
